Building Gnome Houses//Kids//Lifestyle//Mason county Washington
About a month ago, C and I decided that it would be fun to get together and make gnome houses for the garden with our kiddos. I had thought about the idea because my middle, Cohen, thought they were fascinating when we had seen them at a green house we had visited. I got the little figures from the store and we collected all the other materials from outside to make them.
Now, first, let me tell you.. It SEEMED fool proof and like a great idea. Note to self though- 1. Have enough hot glue to actually make the houses. 2. Get a solid base to construct these things on.
The kids were super excited about it. For the first 5 minutes. Then it ended up just being C and I making the dang gnome houses, by ourselves. And not well, I might add. But it was fun all around and the kids thought they were cool when it was finished.
I may or may not have had to reconstruct them later on into ACTUAL pots with dirt and plants etc. It was a fun afternoon activity though!
